Visiting Chisholme

Chisholme is a place that attracts creative, introspective, artistic, thoughtful, open-minded, curious and adventurous souls from across the world ...
Lindsey, volunteer and Film Major from Whitman College, Western Australia

Chisholme is here for those who seek to know themselves essentially and come to understand the reality of the world in which they live.

Spring and Summer
You are welcome to visit at any time; for afternoon tea, for a day, a weekend, a week, or longer. During the summer months you can join an ongoing programme of group study, meditation and conversational enquiry, to get a taste of what the education here can offer. The place and its surrounding wild woods and moorland are glorious, so this is also a wonderful time to simply be here in contemplation, in the spirit of a self-guided retreat.

Autumn and Winter
This is the time for the longer, intensive Discovering Unity retreats. These have their own order and conditions and so the programme of the School adjusts accordingly. Visitors who come during the winter months are asked to respect the requirements of these courses.
