An invitation to a weekend of enquiry
The overall theme at Chisholme for the past two years has been ‘preparing the ground’, first for the Rumi 750 celebration, and last year in preparation for the Six-month Course. Over this time we have considered some of the interrelationships between the four spheres of ecology, economy, culture and spirituality in the light of the unity of existence.
The fruit of this research has been its incorporation into the Six-month Course curriculum. The opportunity, to study and observe the unfolding of interdependencies inherent and consequent to the absolute unity of existence in the context of the course, was a grace and a privilege, shared by students and staff alike over the winter months.
The present invitation, to widen the circle, is to all who wish to join this continuing enquiry. We will be reviewing some of the materials – texts, films and talks – that were found to be most useful during the course. These will inform our conversation and our request to be shown things as they really are, in service to the One and Only…
This is the first of three weekends of enquiry.
Two further weekends are proposed:
Thursday 26 June to Sunday 29 June
Thursday 31 July to Sunday 3 August
