Here in the Chisholme garden, the apples are beginning to fall and our apple press is ready to fulfil its service. Alongside this traditional once-a-year activity, the onions have had a good few weeks to dry and are now ready to be tied up in bunches ready for storage through the Winter.
Please come and help us!
Both are joyful and insightful projects to mark the turning of the season, as we embark into the Winter six month period at Chisholme. Those who have their own apples are welcome to come and press them as well – bring a bottle or two for the juice.
If you would like to join us, please get in touch with the secretary, and we would ask anyone wishing to stay through the day to bring a packed lunch.
We'll provide tea, coffee, and apple juice!
We look forward to welcoming you any time from 9am onwards.
