Return

A seven-day contemplation of death and dying, incorporating wisdom tradition readings, conversation and spiritual practice.

This course is open to anyone who is interested in preparing their self consciously, in willing agreement and gratitude, for this ultimate transition, as well as those offering end-of-life care to a family member, a friend or perhaps a neighbour living alone.
Indeed, it is for anyone, of any age or life circumstance, who wishes to contemplate the reality of dying, and of making this spiritual transition within their own lifetime.

‘I do not understand
the mystery of grace –
only that it meets us where we are
and does not leave us
where it found us.’
– Anne Lamott

The course begins with supper at 7pm on Sunday 14 December, includes Rumi’s Nuptial Night on the 17th and ends after lunch on Sunday 21 December, the Winter Solstice.
The course is fully residential and the cost is £550.
There are payment options, eg by instalments, so please email secretary@chisholme.org if you need more information.
Please apply early as places will be limited.
