This 3-week introductory course explores three long-established lenses which have proved useful in the process of self-discovery:

  1. My self, my life, and my world.
  2. A wider view beyond difference and division.
  3. An inclusive view which combines both these perspectives.

We will be invited to explore each of these aspects through a combination of discussion, selected readings, poems, mindfulness, and contemporary understandings of mind. In the process we may discover an inner peace and stability with which to navigate difficulty as well as to appreciate our lives more fully. Daily engagement with course exercises is an important part of this course. Please allocate at least 15-30 minutes each day for mindfulness practices.
