Weekend of Conversation 22nd – 23rd June

You are invited to a weekend of conversation at Chisholme, continuing the ongoing enquiry begun in February this year.

As you may know, those at Chisholme are under the particular intention of preparing for the proposed Six-month Intensive Course beginning in October this year. This enquiry continues the intention initiated last year, focused on Rumi’s 750th anniversary.

‘Preparing the place’ will have deep resonance for students of the School who have contemplated the Chapter of Adam in Ibn ‘Arabi’s Fusus al-Hikam.
For, ‘it is a rule in the Divine Activity to prepare no place without it receiving the Divine Spirit…’

Perhaps then, we can best be of service in engaging ourselves in this work of preparation, on many levels both inside and out. It is a work of clarification, within ourselves and collectively, towards a single pointed focus, for Him [the Real] alone.

As always, we cannot know the outcome. But we do know that our joyful engagement and focus is a great good in itself, and a gift.

So we hope that you will be able to come and participate over the weekend, beginning at 9.00 am on Saturday and ending with lunch on Sunday.

Please contact Sarah at secretary@chisholme.org to let us know if you will be coming, which meals you will be here for, and whether you will need accommodation at Chisholme.

Donation guidelines for the weekend are on this page
